Flat Earth Photography : Photo Editing

We can take your printed or digital photos and shape them into whatever you want or need. We have done edits ranging from simple blemish removal to adding an absent person into wedding photos. If you have an old photograph that is faded, torn or otherwise damaged, we can restore it to like-new condition.

This is an image that you may have seen in our Senior photos section. The original on the left shows his left eye drooping a bit. We copied his right eye, made a mirror image and placed it on top of the left eye, blending it unnoticeably into position. You can also see that we shoot primarily in color, but are happy to convert any images to black and white for a stunning, classic look.
This couple told us that they loved this shot, but wished that the pastor didn't have to be in it. Wish granted! We can also add anyone that you wish, as long as we are provided with a clear photo of them. Friends or relative that cannot attend your ceremony can be there in spirit and in your photos as well.
While the park setting was stunning, the alley behind it was less than so. The window took attention away from the beautiful snow white gowns, and who wants a mailbox and 'no parking' sign in their wedding album? Removing these elements made the image all about the participants, and not about the distractions that could not be helped at the time. We've even managed to change the gown and flower colors in other projects. Don't be afraid to ask for what you think is impossible.
Like the last image, there were simply too many elements distracting your eye from the focal point. We took out the window and its glare on the floor as well as the person just in view on the right. The changes are subtle, but make a big difference in the final image.

This one was a mess! I'm sure that we all have photos from the 70's that look like the one on the left. The blue dyes used in printing during the 70's faded out pretty easily over time. It leaves us all with photo albums filled with pink pictures. This one also had a few scratches and had been folded in half, creating numerous creases. After some time in Photoshop, it looks as good as it did the day it was taken.

If you still have doubts about whether your treasured photos can be saved or not, feel free to write or call to schedule a time that we can meet and look over the photo. We will give you an idea of what will be involved in restoring the photo, and an estimate as to the cost. We never charge for a consultation. All of our work is done digitally, so your original photo will be returned to you intact and without alteration.
